Pumpkin came into our foster care early in October, 2000. He had been picked up in Wisconsin, running as a stray. Pumpkin was officially adopted by Bev and Tom Kreye on 24 February 2001. Eileen drove part-way to meet with them and to give them a chance to get to know Pumpkin a little bit. Pumpkin was to be Tom's dog, and the two of them took to each other immediately. They have decided to rename Pumpkin; they're going to call him "Pepper" now, and they're looking forward to starting obedience classes with him. Good luck, Bev and Tom, and good luck, Pepper. You're a great dog, they're lucky to have you, and you're lucky to have them, too.
